I had to
quit my job at Rag Dollz, it was sad for me.
I had a shift change/expansion at RL work, and I just could not justify
spending all my inworld time working when I do not need to. I am hoping once things get settled down I
can start on another project. I really
enjoyed my time there, but it was time to move on.
Blaze and
I wedged our way into the back of Lesbian Paradise. It was packed, but as long as I only looked
at us, I was fine and did not crash.
Blaze wanted to play around with choreographing on the fly and to get
familiar with her new dances in a place that would play music that we do not
usually listen to. We are not really pop
music fans, on the sim, my radio plays Soma's Secret Agent most of the time,
and occasionally some other lounge music.

A
Blaze-stravaganza!
Belle,
Ender and I were treated to a one woman show of all the acts Blaze has done so
far. Though Belle and I (well really
Belle) are her patrons, we never get to see her perform on Friday nights. That is our RL date night and/or gaming group
(depending on the week). These
commitments came long before meeting Blaze and Belle and I really have a hard
time backing out, even though we adore Blaze to no end. Then add to that, I/we crash every time I go
to a Guerilla Burlesque show. We get
home about midnight, but that is too late to get in. It was annoying before, but it would be
devastating if I got there and crashed out.
I do OK at Orchids or some concerts because it is only 30 or so on the
sim, but 70 avis works my machine too hard and *poof* there I go!
Even
Ender cannot make it. He only has
internet that is strong enough when he is at Blaze's house, which means that he
would lag her while performing, and that is no good. :( The MEGA-Upside is that
we got a private performance, that is something that even the VIP's at GB do
not get. ;P
I am not
posting pix, because Ender and her took them for a project that she is working
on for documenting her work. It is
Bootstrappin' Burly-Q GurlyQ. Plus I was
enjoying the show too much to be distracted by pix and chatting up Ender
between acts.
She did
not plan this too well, it was kind of off the cuff, oh we are all going to be
inworld together in an hour? Let's do
it! There were long pauses between sets,
music cueing issues (we had our own playlists since none of us know how to do a
stream), and very pleasant wardrobe malfunctions ;} But she did all 11 numbers and it was quite
memorable.
I made us
do a new family picture after the show….
And there
was dancing on The Aether Amazon afterwards, until we all almost fell asleep at
the keyboard at 3:30 am.

The next
day: A surprise date. I came inworld and Blaze was around so we
actually thought we would do some of the Steam 8 hunt, (even though she
promised Belle she would do it with her, Belle gave the nod of approval). We made it as far as The Steam Rose (the
first stop for where she was in the hunt) and we were enjoying the Krackens and
then we got the notice for...
...Jordan
Reyne Deezul at Key West!! That was a
super fun afternoon, it had been a while since she has been inworld, and even
longer since I had seen her. She is so
talented she can play with a half gallon of Jack Daniel's on her hand!
Dancing
in the lovely Irish countryside! The
silly thing is that I did not have anything ready to wear in the St. Paddy's
genre. I know I had stuff sitting in my
inventory waiting for this time of the year, but it would have taken an hour to
make an outfit, so I went with what I had on.
Blaze just put on her outfit from the St. Pat's protest act that was
intended to bring back the snakes. She
is so clever! And Sexy as hell!
Have to
say this was my best weekend in SL in a long, long time!
