Hope that Belle can get in here soon and take this owl out.  I do love her, but she is hanging in the middle of the bedroom now and it is a little creepy.  For now I will just play her a little song.

Belle got the Captain's Wench Dress from a Mini-Mania at Rag Dollz it is so perfect for her.  I dug out a Pirate Captain Outfit.  That is a match!  She can be my wench for a little while, that is generally my preferred status and I am good at it!

Yasum is the BEST!
Gathering some Holiday Goodies.  Yasum not only gave away the awesome Christmas build but they also put out a Christmas Calendar where they gave away something everyday.  They had it set up in their skybox in a lovely build.

Did not know until I sat down just now that my boots do not match my outfit :(

I am probably going to vanish for a while. My prep for the Holidays has been keeping me in RL and now it is time for a trip to the fam.  But before I left I got to meet Ender Atreides.  Well at the moment I am just hanging out with Blaze.  She made this avi for her best buddy for X-Mas and she came as him to hang out with me.  I am looking forward to meeting the real Ender.

I also scored a prettier skating rink. Yes!

Feels good to be back but bummed I did not get to be here more.  Family is stressful.  So I filled the house with prezzies for our party.  They are mostly decorative, we did our exchanging already.  Blaze is bringing Ender as an alt, since she has still not had a chance to give him his present yet.  Pre-party prep in this fabulous Elf-Fit!

Finished my X-Mas breakfast a couple of days late.  Trying to milk the last out of my elf-fit. It rules.  December meant that I spent my RL consumed with gift making and giving.  I did not have much time to log in, except once to meet Ender. (While he was still Blaze so I do not know if that counts?)  Cannot wait to meet the real Ender, hope we get along, he means a lot to Blaze.

B&T some group clean up, last minute x-mas stuff gathering and general savoring of the season.
I am jealous of everyone's hunting projects, not sure where Blaze got the time for her own hunts  I know her and Belle split the Gothmas. But they both have gotten so much other stuff for xmas, and I did not .  It is interesting since I ham the biggest fan of the holiday out of the three of us.  Guess I am kind of pouting, but there is no room for it, I was taking care of my RL peeps. So maybe I will try to do one here now….
Still working the clean up gifts, scrub out groups, and take some holiday shots.  Not quite tired of it yet!

Unpacking after yesterday's gifty round up.
When I went outside and looked around…I definitely put the most into the house and the space!  Glad I got to it just after turkey day, no time otherwise.  I am ready to put up another winter cabin though, after our party.

That night we got together at the bubble for a belated X-mas party, we thought it would not work out at all.  Blaze "brought" Ender who is not yet himself.  So we just used him as a prop for pix that would document this life that he has not lived yet. :)

 We exchanged prezzies.  Belle bought both of  us some AOs from Oracul.  She discovered them and loves them and we both had been complaining about being bored with ours.  Blaze gave me the latest fishing outfit from Sn@tch and I am not at liberty to discuss the rest of the gifts on this blog.

We snuck out for some couple time on the rink.

Wardrobe change and Ender could not get into this pose so he is pouting.  Belle and Blaze managed matching hats. Dorks! Merry X-Mas!

What a luxury!  I get to have a whole day indulging in SL.  Started with some Inventory clean-up, seems like I was just doing that, it can get out of hand rather quick.  More Yasum goodies.  If I look delighted, I am.  She even gave us a piano….


LaVie Snowflake on Ice (Skates)!

Ms. Gingerbread Neko from Bitter Bunnies.  So I have been intrigued by the whole Neko thing, but it is not totally my scene, but when I put this on, I was in love!  I see the appeal of having a tail.

Blaze came by for a while showing off the latest fishing fit from Sn@tch.  I do not think she had to work as long as I did for my last one, But she gave me all her extras, though sadly a key piece or two was missing.
I am most excited about my patchwork boots, a Freeb from Lassitude and Ennui.  Looking at them in this picture I realize that I need to downsize them a little, but that will be easy.  They remind me of these ceramic cats that my mom painted with the same colors and patchwork theme.  The cats were also stylistic and smooth just like the boots.
Naptime prize camping with Blaze at Grumble.  We ran around for a little while before she had to go run an errand and I needed a nap.  So we camped for some new shoes.

Developing my list of camping chairs for weekend days like this when I could just wait around in-world, while taking care of concerns in RL.  Looking for other suggestions…anyone?

Blaze and I got to hang again later in the evening.  Belle is working in RL.  So we redecorated the bubble.  I was feeling like I wanted to move from X-Mas into a modern winter.  Blaze found an amazing skybox in her inventory, but it would not fit into my bubble, because it is too tall.  Maybe Belle will put it up.  So we settled for this little skybox that is just a bedroom and a closet.  We remodeled the closet to be a bathroom with a shower.  Maybe I will put a hot tub in there if I could find one that is the right size. Hell might as well put one outside, we have privacy, kind of not used to that.  Do not know what else to put in the closet, maybe just screen it off.  I am wearing the Alice Cullen I scored off the Twilight Saga Hunt.  I did not do the whole hunt, it was during my busy time, so this must have been in a store I went to for another reason.

There is plenty of room for our rehearsal stage.  Need to stop spending time hunting, and do some wardrobe and set building to prep for our first SL gigs (that have not been booked yet ;-)).

To end my day, I updated our Chateau Amazons group Picture.  It was from many months ago and we really have grown up!  Compared to:

They will kill me for re-posting this, it is like having you middle school picture put on Facebook!  The days of layering hair (I had three on and the others had 2) and low quality skins are over.  Belle wins the most improved award though!  As we slide out of the year it is important to remember the best of times and this slumber party, where we chatted into the wee hours of the morning was definitely a highlight of 2011.  Finding SL, connecting to my long-term RL partner in a new way, and meeting Blaze are in the top 3 of the Top 10 awesome things that happened for me in 2011.
Belle and I are off for RL New Year's fun.  See you next year!  May 2012 be prosperous and healthy for all!

Mushroom Hunting

I took on this hunt because it was short and I love Mushrooms and Autumn.  I hoped for some great finds that incorporate both.  I was not disappointed.
Brasil Norte - Encounter with little critters on the mushroom hunt is the closest I have come to the real thing on the hunt.  As a PNW Fairy with I have spent many a day in the woods hunting mushrooms, and it really is a lot like this...Chillin' with tea and the little ones.

 The mouse, I think it snuck into my inventory while I was at Brasil Norte!  ;) I have to save it from the owl, hopefully she will not notice him.

I do love the Owl and want her to flourish, but these mice are so few and far between.  Maybe next time.

Blaze recommended this, but I do not think this is what she had in mind since she said something to the effect of "get out and fish" implying some out-in-the-inworld-ness, instead of camping in the games room of Sn@tch for many hours. She cannot complain since she inherited my extras.

Cheers to 11-11-11!  A toast to the Oneness of it all and a moment of thanks that this fragile world we live in grants me the opportunity to play around in SL.  Wish I could say I planned it, but I think it is even more special that I did not, just looked down at 11:10 and smacked the bottle of Brut on the table and got a glass of bubbly.
Thought I could send a picture and outfit details in some shortcut manner that would inspire me to write more about it but I was sadly mistaken.  Guess I am really not a fashion blogger, but I will start tagging things once I take over my blog from Blaze, and I figure out how to do it.  She has been fabulous in so many ways, least of which is posting for me, but I am a big girl and kinda smart, so I will learn.  So much for the helpless bimbo act…I guess…I can play it other times to get other things done for me. *eyelash batting*

Wearing: Skintimate $75 L Skin, that is awesome and I think I got as a Freebie.  Flirty Gurl Toffee, but it is not toffee, but I do not think they wanted to advertise it as mustard, but I love it! The outfit is the product of 4 hours of fishing at Sn@tch and another fisherwoman gave me #15, glad I waited for the dog collar…cherry on top. 
After getting all dolled up, I went to Lesbian Paradise to dance.  I was surprised when I rezzed in there that they had torn everything apart in favor of an Arabian Nights theme.  They may have been doing this for a while, it has been a while since I have been there.  Luckily I had one outfit of Silks ready to go so I changed really quick before entering.  I was one of the handful dressed for the theme, but I was proud of myself.  I got there late and everyone left the moment the radio came on.  Wonder where they went??  I roamed around for a while and explored this beautiful build.

So many Unicorns and I could not tame a one of them…*wink, wink*


Camels and Elephants too!  They were more tamable, but not as mythical, shucks!

Kinda bummed that my shoes were stubborn and would not match my skin. :(

Spent the night unpacking boxes from Group Gifts and misc. acquisitions.  Foreshadowing:  I did not finish for a couple more days.  I have to say I was not expecting this...

SLART KULT gave me a Porsche..random but cool. Belle would not approve, so I will not tell her.  ;}

The Turkey Day blitz over and some X-Mas shopping done I got into a Winter/X-Mas build.  Yasum is extremely generous and gave away this Santa's workshop with all the trimmings. I go rid of the workshop and kept the house.  I also did not keep the outdoor stuff since I needed to use less prims, no complaints though, not that any of their stuff is particularly primmy, there was just a lot of it, and well x-Mas stuff is prim-tastic, but that is the same everywhere.  Anyway, I wanted an ice skating rink and I acquired 4 just trying to find the right one.  At least I found the Figure Skater Outfit right off. :)

It is going to be sad not to spend more time in my little Winter Wonderland, but RL is calling me make prezzies and to be with friends and family in our combined Solstice and X-Mas gatherings.

Belle and I on the Friday Night date, RL is being a "b" to us.  I usually do end up making us go to my favorite destination…Idle Rogue for Guerilla Burlesque.  This show was definitely special, the venue was done in ruins and opened up onto the Haunted Garden.  Of course mostly, it was special because we looked awesome…

The only downside is that I kept crashing…it was a bit of a bummer since there were actually fewer people there than usual, I have had better luck on a night when there was 50+.  Should look into it: the time you are in a sim improves your chances of having a good show, because certainly since we started getting there later we have had more lag.  I have watched entire acts where the girl is grey until the last moment of the act.
The Guerilla Girls and Boys put together an excellent Halloween Spectacular, but the one that kept me giggling the longest was this number with Shippy (?) and two of the girls doing an excellently choreographed number to "Bad to the Bone."
And then we danced for a long while in the Haunted Garden behind the theater.  


I made a costume change after one of my crashes rendered me a cloud upon my return.  I think I am a pretty damn smexy Demon Skeleton.

I kept moving but a few feet higher than Belle and I really felt little stiff.
Then we "hung out" at Belle's for some photo opps with costumes on.
Then we tried out the Cauldron that Blaze left on The Bubble Stage.

Started to do the Haunted Forests Hunt but I got stuck at this one and since there are no numbers or LMs or anything I did not know where to go next and ditched it. The group was no help at all, they kept talking around me and not offering help to me, but others got it.  Bummed since I did want to gather some of the goodies.
The Upside…I got just what I needed…

A properly Witchy scene to go with Blaze's Cauldron and Belle's Owl.  I am trying on the Autumn Leaves Gown that I got from Rag Dollz MM board.  It is lovely.

RL fun is over, did my parties and now get to have fun in SL and hand out candy…not a bad night!
We started at Belle's Box, where the Shroom Hats, lovely grass, and Spooky trees were just enough to give it the right touch.

Our assignment for this party was to come up with three different outfits; formal, creepy, and casual.  We started with the Formals of course…

 
Then we did semi-formal…Witchy Best…I really should have bought more hats, I was alarmed to discover that I only had the purple one.  Even Belle had three, and that is not like her. 

And then the slutty theme…this one came up when we realized that we each had "casual" outfits that were a bit risque, in fact Belle would not take her sweater off until she could find the appropriate bra to go under the shirt.  She knew we would be snapping pix(hehehe). We also had to do a quick change because Belle was annoyed that she could not get completely out of the Inquisition outfit, no matter how hard she tried.

After playing with the Cauldron, we finally drug out all the Poseballs for 3 that we had lying around in our inventories.The first ones Blaze put in the big cauldron, since she cannot seem to stay out of hot water.
 It was fun and sweet, maybe too sweet for a Halloween party.  So we had a macabre intermission…

That V is certainly the scariest of all the costumes Belle tried on, much scarier/creepy than my Demon Skull, it has really grown on me.

Back to the sweet and exhausting our Halloween Outfits before the Veil thickens again and orange and black becomes a forbidden color combo.

Belle had to go and Blaze and I had to do a little more celebrating.  I taught her about the Wiccan Holiday (though I am pretty sure she already knew it, just playing coy so I will babble on about something).  We danced on the Pentagram for a little while to celebrate the New Year!

El Dia De Los Muertos
Found out that this set had more poses than the crawling from the grave one near a tombstone.  I love this for the holiday's proper observance.  Yeah I am a lapsed closet Wiccan.

Making sure I was exhausted of Photo Opps before I tore down this stage…just one last one….

That is good for this year…next year we will have even more goods for the occasion and even more fun!
