My Rez Day & the Rest of April

My Rez day - Do not know where I am.  Benefiting from Belle's experience, and a few LM's she sent me, I grabbed up some freebies real quick, so that not everything I have is from the basic Library.

Exploring Viva La Glam, have to say I am in love!  From the roller skating rink to the three burlesque venues and a drive-in theater, what more could a girl like me want?

It is not more than a couple of days past my Rez Date.  An astute Sler could tell by my goth birth skin showing around my belly and the fact that my boots do not fit.  Really struggling with being a short curvy elf in a tall skinny sprite world.

Unlike Belle, I invested in a basic account so that I could have a house.  She is fine with not having a place, but after she took me to Ellie's and I decided I ultimately want to be a burlesque dancer I decided that I really needed a place of my own.  Not sure if it is the best investment of L$ but for now it will do.  This is my first place, and I love it.  Fell for the decorating possibilities and shopping for furniture.  Umm…furniture, that brings in another component of this life that I was not expecting.  ;-}

Cannot quite wrap my head around all of the intricacies of owning property, have not met anyone I trust to rent from, so until the magic day arrives this will be a great space for Belle and I to hang out, lounge by the pools, dance, and try on clothes and other....

I just wish that Belle was around more with me, her RL takes her away for large chunks, and it creates holes in both lives now…guess I will just read a book while I wait.

Lesbian Paradise is just that…aptly named.  While Belle is away the Renae will play.  No action shots from the dance floor, but I did meet a sweet and wise Tran while dancing who welcomed me and gave me some very sage advice…"SL is a great place but it is very easy to lose your head in here, so be careful to not let that happen to you."

Hanging out around the fire outside the Southside Church - Viva La Glam.  I would have loved to make the show, but they are hard to get to since they fall right at my RL dinner time.  I have made it to the after parties a couple of times.  Good tunes and friendly hosts, love it.  Danced so much that my sandals shifted.  I could dance all night, but taking a break before going back to the Chateau.

Poseable Elephants!  Have I told you lately that I love SL?  Went out for a night on the town when I realized that I had a peeping tom in my Linden burb.

Annoying but at least it got me out.  Ended up dancing the night away at Lesbian Paradise again, dancing is fun, now that I have figured how find dance balls.

Aren't we just so cute??

It took monumental efforts of coordination but we finally got to have an evening together in SL (We only have one computer that is good enough to run SL without wanting to yank out one's hair by the roots and she takes it with her when working, ack.)  Usually we just patiently take turns.  I am going to have to invest in upgrades, known that I needed to do it for a long time, my SL addiction is costing me more than I thought it ever would…;-)

 I just love my Belle and I am glad she dragged me into this life.  After our date night, just chatting on the cliff at Kitten Cove, we went to the Chateau to figure out how all that furniture works ;-}.
