Found out about Stray Pig from the Freebie Telegraph and had to get the Frog lounger with leaf umbrella.  What I did not know is that they also had about 12 Lucky Letter Boards with different animals that you can hold.  I have the deer and penguin in my arms.  The other ones are just display models, but they are soooooooo cute! Squee!

Crave, sat on the camping chair while I worked.  The time-keeping hover text is slashing through my butt. LOL!

Grumble Grumble, oh why not hit another camping chair.  I saw that she added a bunch more to it, so I got these boots that I have been eying for a long time.

Nite out with Blaze

This was how I logged in…fashion disaster.

It is every outfit I had worn in the last two log-ins,  all piled onto me at once.  I spent a long time trying to get it fixed.  I wonder how many times I have appeared this way to others.  Re-baking is not the miracle cure for unremovable clothes.  I wonder how many times we have made fun of noobs who looked similar, thinking they did it on purpose.  I am just glad that I caught myself before "goin outta the house lookin' like that."

Missed theme night at Idle Rogue and  Blaze was still in the mood to tear it up so we went to the first place that seemed amenable on the "What's Happening"  The Galaxy Strip Club.  *devious grin*

Once again.  I know I am super biased, but we were the hottest thangs there.  Wished we could have gotten the clothes off the male stripper, but we both are so broke after VC Designs and DV8 closing sales.  At least the DJ and Hostess greeted us and in turn we talked it up trying to get others to take off his clothes. 

We are both wearing Crickets, lucky board or group gifts.  They are a great shop for grungy or not so grungy urban wear.  I am quite fond of her stuff.

Ah, back to my place for a night cap.

After she left I watched the sun come up in both worlds with Dharma here, and my pup in RL. I like doing that from time to time.  Being out of the grind!  I am so thankful that summer is finally here!  I will be traveling some, but I can have a few more hours inworld, maybe I can help Elleon figure out the derby team thing.

Thank you D!va! I hung out here while working while working and got some fabulous new hairs.  Thankfully strawberry is my second fave color since she always puts those on the Lucky Boards.  I think I will go back and get something in my favorite platinum.


I have learned that I can wait around lucky boards and keep one eye on them while I work…hmmmm…paradigm shift happening…probably not the best thing for my work though. ;->  But when I have to bring stuff home, I might as well get a little easy me time out of it.  I certainly was more productive this way.

Late night date with Blaze.  I came in world after Blaze was already at Guerilla Burlesque.  I tried to go in there, but one thing after another.  My clothes would not rez. I could not even land on the sim, they were packed.  So she told me she was feeling Dieselpunk and I told her I would get ready to go out by the end of the show.


Using the search we looked up Rockabilly venues, then went to all of them that did not have people at them.  We wanted to be alone.

We did not spend time in the actual bar, it was small and closed in, like any good dive should be, but we were not in that mood yet.  Outside, in the parking lot, was lots of fun and the music stream was the best.

We danced here for a good while.
The Naughty Box was empty so we danced on the stage for a little bit.  We knew the venue Blaze went to Burlesque boot camp here and had whisked me over thinking I would dig the retro jazzy club, and I do.

A good place with 30's music, and a classy atmosphere.  We jetted when someone showed up, like we were doing something bad.  We were not, it was just fun to act that way.


My fave had to be Olivia's Creepy Diner...


Arm Wrestling!  I beat Blaze every time, HAH!



They had a well placed pole inside the diner and several danceballs.  We could have even posed in accident scenes outside, but we want to come back with our best macabre on to really do it right.

Belle got word that Vanilla Chemistry was having a  store closing sale just for the weekend.  The lag was fantastic, but we hung in there.  Ender was even there later. They had awesome Steam/Victorian/Cyber wear.  Cleaned out the last of my lindens in there.   


Blaze overheard someone talking about derby, and got her attention to talk to me...
She is interested in starting a Steam Themed Derby team!  Yay!  I could get behind that.  Because of Belle's influence, I have really come to like the look.  Steam-powered skates would be super cool!




Unpacking these clothes was a blast!


Confession I am keeping my premium account and my little linden house, even though Belle and Blaze make fun of me for it.  If for no other reason is that I love love love having access to these sandboxes.  They are spacious, often few people there, and I have yet to be griefed, knock on a one prim box.


It is funny what a little moonlight can do…I just had the space so I played for a long time, I felt so glamorous!

RL Prevents SL Fun

Without saying too much about my RL, that you do not already know, I live and work by the academic calendar and when I went to sort out the pix for this months blog, I felt just how stretched I was this month.  Not only was I not in-world much but I also just kinda took care of business, and got out to go back to work.  It will slow down in one month and counting, I just hope I make it through this year.



Like all my four-legged friends, it is always  good to see Dharma.  The best addition would be to make Zooby's wag tail and jump on you when you first see them. :-)


So I came in to play tonight.  Went to Guerilla Burlesque alone and then over to LP to dance.  Did not get the memo about the pool party, at least this lovely gown was easily convertible.



Once again, no one greeted me, even though there was a hostess on duty.  Starting to get disenchanted.  Need to find another place to hang.  I really wanted to work here, but it is not like it used to be when Pinky was DJ'ing, people had conversations and talked to me.  Thinking of spending time at Lesbian Teahouse.  It seemed a little to calm when I was there before.  Too much of the old dyke, clean and sober vibe to it, I hope I am wrong.  I am young, want to party, and spend my L$ tipping people and venues that care that I am there.  But if it works for the tight little clique that hangs there well they can have it.

Blaze put this altar like tribute at the landing point in my bubble.  We have achieved a year as a tribe! Wow!  As it seems people hook up in SL and move along pretty quickly.  The time, distance, and unknowns between us keep things from going too fast, maintains the mystery.  We all have our RL's and we did not come here to hook up, maybe that is why it happened. *grin*
